In my role as a Public Health Aide II at the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, I provided crucial support to the professional medical staff across various clinics and medical operations within the Metropolitan Health Department.
Beyond these responsibilities, I took on an educational role by teaching various related classes specifically tailored for WIC recipients. This multifaceted role allowed me to contribute not only to the operational efficiency of the health department but also to the education and well-being of the community, particularly those within the WIC program. My commitment was centered on supporting both the administrative and educational aspects of public health, working collaboratively to enhance the overall health and wellness of the community.
CCDS CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/ SPECIALIST

Followed up on citizens' complaints, requests, and inquiries to ensure that all concerns were satisfactorily resolved.

Worked with departments and divisions in the formulation of complaint-handling procedures for customer service.

Attended citizen/neighborhood meetings to present and obtain information.

Developed a database to provide accurate data regarding the number and type of complaints, locations, times, responses, recurrences, and actions taken.

Conferred with supervisory or managerial personnel to recommend changes in order to avoid recurring customer complaints.

In my role as a Customer Service Specialist in the CCDS division of the City of San Antonio, I collaborated closely with CCDS recipients, members of the Texas Workforce Commission's Jobs and Ready to Work programs, as well as with directors and owners of child care facilities. My responsibilities involved recording and following up on citizens' complaints, questions, and requests concerning City services, with the aim of delivering outstanding customer service.
